We have had a VERY busy 6 months, and will be taking a much needed break! Our office will be closed from Dec 24 – Jan 1. Email may be checked sporadically, but there will be no in-office hours.
We wish to thank you all for your patience over the last few months – we are nearly finished the process of changing ticketing systems, and over the next 2 weeks all tickets purchased for Steel Magnolias & The McAdo will also be changed over to our new system. We will also be updating our marketing system, rental invoicing and mailing list! We thank you in advance for you patience as we work our way through all these changes.

Jan 31 – Feb 15 – STEEL MAGNOLIAS – All the ladies who are “anybody” come to gossip and have their hair done by Truvy in her Chinquapin, Louisiana salon. Sharing their stories, laughs and tears, Steel Magnolias is the much-loved hit play featuring six amazing women who draw upon their strength and love to meet the challenges of life. Part comedy of manners, part heartfelt tearjerker, and featuring non-stop banter and wisecracks, this play about friendship, community, and the power of the human spirit. Get tickets HERE

Apr 25 – May 10 – THE MCADO – In this adaptation by Gilbert & Sullivan Austin, Gilbert’s libretto and Sullivan’s score has been kept virtually intact, while the costumes will reflect the Scottish moors. It’s a farcical tale of a wand’ring minstrel, a cowardly executioner, an iron-fisted ruler, and some of the greatest songs in musical theatre!
WORKSHOPS – With all the changes happening this year, we are keeping our Workshop Season streamlined, with workshops in late Feb, March & May. If you have any ideas for Workshop topics, please email tickets@morpheustheatre.ca.
BOOK DONATIONS – We will be conducting a book drive for the entire 2024-2025 Season. Simply bring your gently used books to the Pumphouse Theatre when you come to any of our shows this season and deposit them into the box.
