Our Spring Shows are Nearly Upon Us!

We wish to thank you all for your patience over the last several months – we have nearly finished the process of changing to our new systems, but of course we are still learning. Morpheus Production Centre Now Accepting Rentals!
Morpheus’ New Production Centre in Highfield (1155E – 44 Avenue SE) is now accepting bookings for smaller productions at our new rehearsal studio – Studio C! As the space is still a work in progress, we are offering a reduced rate for our renters.
We are also starting to rent set pieces (wall flats, doors, windows, archways, risers and steps). Call for details!

Apr 3 – 5 – Calgary Region One-Act Play Festival – This year Morpheus sponsored Art & Wellness Elevation’s production of Bambi by Madisson Vermeulen being performed Apr 3.
Apr 11 – 19 – GUYS AND DOLLS (Co-Production with MisFit Theatre YYC) – It’s time to roll those dice as this beloved musical takes a bow! A screwball romantic comedy, Guys and Dolls takes us into the heart of 1950s New York and includes toe-tapping musical theatre classics such as “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ The Boat” and “Luck Be a Lady”. Season Subscibers get 20% off – call or email the office for details.
Apr 13 – 14 – Casino Fundraiser – Every 18 months or so the Alberta Government grants Morpheus a license to hold a casino as a fundraiser. These casinos bring in up to $70,000 for our use in putting on shows. To make these casinos work we need to fill some 36-38 shifts – at roughly $2,000 per volunteer shift, this can be a great way to support Morpheus! Backup volunteers still needed – Please sign up HERE
