50/50 Rules & Regulations

  1. Licensee: Morpheus Theatre 50/50 Online Raffle (the “Raffle”) shall be conducted by the 50/50 Licensee pursuant to a license (the “License”) from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (“AGLC”) and in accordance with the Criminal Code of Canada, Alberta Gaming and Liquor Act and Regulations, AGLC Policy, AGLC Raffle Terms and Conditions, and the terms of the 50/50 Raffle Licensee Agreement between the 50/50 Licensee and Morpheus Theatre.   1. Date and Location of Draw: December 30, 2020 at 3:00pm at the Morpheus Rehearsal Centre (3512 – 5th Avenue NW, Calgary).
  1. Rules: These are the official Morpheus Theatre 50/50 Online Raffle rules.
  1. Eligibility: The Raffle is open to all persons who are located in the Province of Alberta when purchasing tickets online. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older. If more than one name is included on the ticket purchasers Morpheus Theatre online sales account, the prize will be awarded to the first named purchaser. Neither the licensee nor AGLC is responsible for any disputes among the individuals whose names are on the purchaser’s online account. Each ticket sold shall be eligible to participate in each draw conducted under the authority of the License.
  1. Employees of the 50/50 Licensee including its Board of Directors and members of their immediate family (defined as mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, husband or wife, who reside in the same household) are NOT eligible to participate (defined as purchase tickets or receive prizes) in the 50/50 Raffle.
  1. Minor Children: Adult ticket purchasers are not to give their ticket to a person under the age of eighteen (18) years as required by the Public Trustees Act.
  1. Tickets: Ticket pricing shall be: 1 for $5, 3 for$10, 10 for $20, 30 for $50. There are limited tickets available at each price tier.
  1. No Refunds. All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason.
  1. How to purchase: Visit tickets.morpheustheatre.ca
  1. The Draw: Tickets will be available for purchase starting on November 5, 2020. Sales will close at 2:00 PM MST on December 21, 2020. The draw shall take place December 30, 2020 at approximately 3:00 PM MST. The winning ticket will be selected by a Morpheus Theatre employee pulling the ticket from a draw bin of all valid tickets purchased.
  1. Winner Notification: The winning ticket number will be posted on the Morpheus Theatre website at www.morpheustheatre.ca no later than 4:00 PM MST on December 30, 2020. The winner will be notified directly by Morpheus Theatre following the draw and will have 30 days from the draw date to claim the prize.
  1. If the winner cannot be contacted within 15 days, a new draw date will be determined and all valid tickets from the first draw will be included in the second draw.
  1. The Prize: The Raffle Prize will be 50% of the gross revenue from all tickets sold. Prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions, except at the 50/50 Licensee’s sole discretion. The Prize shall be paid by cheque from the 50/50 Licensee. The designated 50/50 purchase is validated through the Morpheus Theatre online sales system.
